Subchorionic hemorrhage so scared

I don’t really know if this is the right group but I can’t seem to find one to post it in. I am 4w5d today. I went to the emergency room yesterday after gushing bright red blood. I had minor cramping about an hour before the bleeding started and none since then. The bleeding seems to have slowed down last night and haven’t had much more than some spotting this morning. I won’t know if it was a miscarriage or a subchorionic hemorrhage until my ultrasound next week. Do any of you ladies have any experience with this? Does a miscarriage typically continue to bleed for several days or does it stop once it happens? also I should add Monday by hcg was 792 and yesterday it was 2556. Getting it checked again tomorrow and all next week
