So my dr put me on it yesterday. I was having some heavy bleeding which isn’t normal for me during a period plus I was late. Also me and partner are trying to get pregnant. Is this suppose to help me conceive?

To stop miscarriage. Fertility patients use it for first tri. Friend also has to use it for her non-medicated pregnancies as she miscarries without it.

Only take progesterone after ovulation if trying to become pregnant. If taking it before pregnancy, it could prevent or delay ovulation thus delay or prevent next period.
