Which is better to take maternity photos? Pros and cons in description!

My MIL is throwing me a second baby shower because my family lives in AZ and they live in CA. I am going to do maternity photos while we’re in California so I can take them at the beach. We are trying to settle on a date so she can start planning and I have two possible weekends that will work well. I am a teacher and we will have fall break on one of those weekends, so I would have a 5 day weekend to travel which is nice. But that weekend is only at 31 weeks pregnant, the other weekend is at 34. I don’t know if I’d rather do it earlier so I don’t feel all huge an bloated and get those extra few days off to travel, or if I’d rather do it later so I have a nice big belly for photos. What do you ladies think?

If you're planning to drive it probably won't matter, but if you are looking at flying you may want to check travel guidelines for your airline. I know 34 weeks is still 6 weeks from your due date but some don't let you fly after 32. 
You may also want to ask your doctor how they feel about you traveling at 34 weeks. Mine didn't want me further than one county away from 32 weeks on and staying within our county from 36 weeks on in case I went into labor early.

If all were equal I’d say wait until 34w, but considering you’ll have extra time at 31w I would just do that.
