Need Advice

Sa

Hi ladies I could use your advice on some thing. I am waiting for ERA and receptive results, but in the meantime I am trying to schedule my hysteroscopy for my polyp to be removed. I got the quote back from my clinic and it would be over $4000 just for this procedure, as I need anesthesia because I definitely couldn’t handle the pain for era. This is a procedure that would normally be covered by my regular insurance, but my clinic doesn’t take insurance (and it’s less than my out of network deductible).

So the question is, should I pay all this money and see my Doctor Who I trust so much with my uterus, or should I try to get an appointment with my gynecologist, (who I don’t know so well) and it might take longer to get an appointment, but it wouldn’t cost as much. All of IVF has been out of pocket and I am definitely not rollin’ in it. I faced this decision last year for my hysteroscopy for my septate uterus, and I decided to go with my fertility doctor because it’s such a sensitive procedure that I don’t know how much other people have experience performing, but with a polyp, would you think that would be harder to mess up? And can I handle the wait? Thanks ladies!
