Should I mention being induced ?

A few weeks ago When I was 34 weeks pregnant baby at the time was measuring 6lbs 13oz at 34 weeks, so she was measuring in the 99th percentile . I myself was a 10 lb baby and my mom had a hard labor trying to get me out. This is my first baby and I’m scared since she’s measuring so large I’m going to have the same problem I am about to be 36 weeks now. Any recommendations? My doctor doesn’t seem to be to concerned or hasn’t recommended anything yet. Can I request to be induced early ?

Was this a growth scan or bump measuring? 
If they were concerned I would of thought they would talk about induction already? 
My consultant told me at week 13 about being induced. 
I mean women have big babies all the time and unless you have GD of something it’s not common practice here but I’m not sure where you live but maybe talk to your doctor and just see what they say

With my first, they told me they were worried she’d be too big for me to deliver at 8lbs and at 37 weeks she was measuring 7.5lbs. Well I was induced at 41 weeks and 2 days, and she only weighed 6lbs 4oz. They measured during an ultrasound and were way off! I don’t think they’ll induce you early, but you can ask that if you make it to 40 weeks you don’t want to risk going over that and see what they say.

I was pretty honest with my provider about concerns when it came to delivering adage child. But I was also trying for a VBAC and have a blood disorder, so there were other risks. But I was honest and we discussed my feelings and the pros and cons of the plan. I ended up with a c-section this week at 38 weeks but it was still good to discuss my concerns when I was having them.

Should I mention being induced ?
