Is your May infant going to daycare during COVID?

Originally yes, she was going to have to go. But my good friend is keeping her two kids home for virtual learning so she’s offered to keep my baby 🙌🏻. So much anxiety has been lifted.

Luckily for my little “bag-o-poops”, I’m on maternity leave for a year unless I decide to go back sooner, so I’m home with him until next Feb, finances permitting. 
If I wait and go back in Feb, he’ll be around 9 months old so depending on which shifts I get, he’ll either go to a nursery/ playgroup or my MIL.
My husband leaves for work around 07:45 and comes back around 17:30. I used to run the 13/14:00 to close/ midnight shift at my place and didn’t get in until about 01:30am - obviously that’s not going to work now that our son is here, so I’ll have to negotiate that later and then we’ll try and decide what’s going to happen.

I plan on going back to work October 1st and she will be going to daycare. We have a two year old that we never stopped sending, it’s impossible to work from home and tell your two year old “mommy needs to work, we can play when mommy has lunch”. The heartbreak on his face everytime I said no was too much and I’ve been having a rough recovery. Once I’m recovered I’ll probably only send him half days just to keep his socialization skills in place. We use an in home daycare and she has minimal kids coming and her and her husband are extra cautious, almost to an extreme.

No. My husband was medically retired from the Army in January so he'll be staying home with our little guy. If he was still in then yes he would be going because I'm still active duty.

I unfortunately have to go back to work in August but my fiancé and mother both work for the schools and school has been canceled til February sooooooo they are going to stay at home with my baby 😊

We were going to but hired a nanny at the last minute. Honestly, I wasn’t too concerned, her daycare was taking tons of precautions and I felt comfortable. I’m just hiring a nanny because I work from home and can still kind of “be with her” during the day. I’m actually a little more reluctant to have someone inside my home not knowing where they go and how safe they’re being.

Eventually I think he will have to, but I have enough time saved up that he will be almost 6 months when I have to go back. But we did switch to a smaller daycare but I still wish I didn’t have to do it :/

We both work and don’t have other options but to send to daycare. Thankfully my maternity leave is 5 months so I have 2 and a half months left 😩
