Early period or...?

UPDATE: it was my period, 5 days early 😭

My husband and I are trying for baby #2. My first son {my Rainbow!} is almost 11 months old. We had to do IUI to conceive him.

I'm currently in the TWW. My period isn't due until August 5th, but I just had some spotting.

Could my period seriously be this early or would this be implantation?

I'm pretty sure it's implantation BUT I want to make sure I'm not going crazy or getting my hopes up!
