Did anyone do their dec baby’s circumcision after age 6mos?

Due to anatomy they declined to do the circumcision at birth and asked us to visit urologist for consultation after age 6 mos. with all the covid stuff the urologist is now just seeing baby at 7 mos. We were kind of on the fence about circumcision at all and now we are getting a late start on the follow up. My hubs and I keep going back and forth on if we should just skip it. Ugh I know this is a hot topic.

We got our son circumcised. I kinda left that decision up to my boyfriend since he would have better judgment on it 🤷🏼‍♀️ I also wanted it done because I work in the health field and I know elderly don’t necessarily keep themselves clean as they may have at some point in their life and I have seen and heard men having to get circumcised when they are elderly due to infections and other reasons.

My son was circumcised at 3 years old due to health issues. I was mortified of his reaction or pain. He was running and jumping around naked like nothing happened.

We just went and had our son circumcised and his hypospadias fixed. He literally was grumpy the day of after but the next day he was back to his normal self. It’s honestly up to you and what you prefer but some people we know who are not circumcised hate that they were not as babies.

My son didn’t have one and he’s going to grow up fine. Lots of babes don’t get it anymore so he won’t be an odd man out.

My boy was born with a natural circumcision (we had opted not to do one anyway), and his pediatrician recommended not to have one, for obvious reasons. But weirdly the skin has grown and everything looks normal now. So I guess I’ve kinda had both sides of it and it has not made a difference to me and still I would choose not to have it done.
