Baby Grunting/Crying During Sleep

FTM here. My 2-week old daughter grunts, cries, and even lets out short screeching bursts while she’s sleeping, regardless of if she’s being swaddled or if she’s in her crib versus a bassinet. It’s worse at night. It’s weird because she’ll make these sounds, which just sound pitiful, then when I go to comfort her, she’s calmed herself down and has returned to sleeping. But she’ll repeat the noises every few minutes. Hubby said they’re just her sounds and not to worry, but I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this before, and if it stopped at some point.
