Can you remain in a relationship for years and years & not be in love with person??? By it being just a convenience and didn’t want to be lonely????

This is very common, people “settle.” And it is very unhealthy long term. Wondering eyes and resentment are inevitable

Absolutely, has tons of people in this situation. Which in my opnion is a waste! 
I got divorced after 5 years married and I as sad it is, I am glad I did, I spent months analyzing my relationship and I loved him as a person but not in love as a man anymore. I was not happy where I was even without cheating or abuse the marriage would not complete my life as I wanted it. So I asked a divorce. I believe he deserved to be fully loved. Years later I am married again in love and fully loved by my husband and he is with someone and now had a baby!
