My white friend just said N$gga

My white friend just said to his white girlfriend, “ Nigga you did not just take my seat”

I found it incredibly disrespectful for him using the word and because I am right here a black person. And it came out his mouth so easily. He didn’t using it to attack but obviously he’s comfortable using it like how black people use it, and I HATE when anyone uses the word.

I asked him if he just said what I thought he said and his girlfriend tried to cover for him. Then I asked if he didn’t feel he should say something to me you know like an apology and he just avoided eye contact and dodged it all together.

I walked away because I’m tired having to explain to my white friends why certain derogatory words are disrespectful and full of hate no matter how you use it. I’m tired of being a triggered angry black woman that has to explain and defend and set people right everytime someone is consciously or unconsciously wrong or rascist. We’re adults why do I have to educate you.
