My best friend moved out and got her own apartment without me. Do I have a right to be mad or am I overreacting?

My bestfriend and I have always planned to get our first apartment together after we finished school and found good jobs. I’m still in school and still haven’t found a very good paying job but she on the other hand has found a good job and is making good money. She told me today that she has decided to move out of her moms house and find an apartment. She doesn’t have the best relationship with her mom so they fight and she argues a lot with her siblings but it’s always been something she kind of just brushed off afterwards. She told me today that it’s just becoming too much for her and she wants to get her own place but once I am financially stabled we can just get a place together when I’m ready. Am I wrong to be upset? I feel like she could stay home and wait until I’m ready and just save. This has always been our plan to get our first place together. I guess I’m just bummed but also I understand because I’m not ready yet financially but I just figured that she would at least wait for me.
