8 weeks, lazy eye and won’t track

My 8 week old has a lazy eye sometimes, mostly after sleeping. It straightened out but I notice it a lot when he first wakes up. He won’t track me unless I get directly in front of his face. If I call him he won’t turn to my voice, but when I get right in front of him and talk to him he will smile and talk back. Did anyone else’s baby take longer to track and respond to sounds? I am hoping he just has poor eyesight and nothing is neurologically wrong with him 😓 I’m so worried.
