17w sciatica?

Edit: I woke up after a few hours of restless sleep and it was totally gone... but now this evening after my evening walk it is coming back. Maybe not sciatica but something else?

Has anyone felt sciatica yet? I never had it with my first pregnancy but today I have shooting pains down my left butt/leg. I thought this only happens much later in pregnancy! Any suggested remedies?

I go to a physical therapist for this. After doing the minimal stretches and exercises like kegels that help, I ice. It becomes so painful it’s hard to walk, move, and/or sleep if I don’t keep up with PT.

I have at 9 weeks but you don't have to be pregnant for sciatica to strike unfortunately not much can help try heat or cold and stretches.

Try prenatal yoga! Won’t completely take the pain away but it does help! I’ve had sciatica issues since I was 16 and each pregnancy it gets worse but I find yoga helps a lot!

I've had it even before my pregnancy. I still haven't gotten used to it. I was prescribed pain meds that don't really help... It's a dull ache that only goes away when u change positions. I have it in my hips 😢
