When do you get a period?

This is my first time on birth control. I am currently on the MINI PILL and i have a question. For example, for the (combination) pill. You usually get a period on the last row which is when you take the “break” pills, but for the mini pill since there is no break in between when should i expect to get my period?? what are you experience? I reas that you usually get it the first week of every pack.. if so, is that true?
