What do y’all do while you wait?

I am still waiting on my appointment to confirm by the doctor that I am pregnant. Then I need to go to a different clinic to find an OB, because the office I go to does not have one. But I’m freaking out waiting. According to the app & when my last period was I would be about 8 weeks right now.

Schedule an OB appointment now. At least by me OB appointments can get really backed up. The sooner you can schedule, the better. I’d also say it’s not really necessary to go to a doctor to confirm your pregnancy. Mind you, this is going off what I’ve heard, but my sister is a PA for the hospital chain near me. They don’t do blood tests unless specifically ordered, only have you pee in a cup and then do a pregnancy strip, so it’s not any more “for sure” than your home pregnancy tests. Just schedule the OB appointment or make sure your pregnancy confirmation is a blood test.
