Need help

My period is 20 days late I've taken 6 pregnancy tests and they have all came back negative. I have always been pretty normal other than when I stopped taking my birth control at the beginning of this year then I went 3 months without a period then two months with my period and now nothing. I have had unprotected sex (with my fiancé, I don't want to be judged) without him pulling out. I don't know if I should schedule a doctors appointment or just wait it out.
