First positive opk or peak???

Hey ladies!! On CD 19 I got my first opk this cycle. The lines were equally dark, but my levels keep going up, so I was a little confused.. do I go by the day that I got the first positive or by the darkest test. I've heard both, just want to see if I should still be BDing. Thanks!
