WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?!

Question

According to the doctors and all the tests I’ve had - nothing. 
So why am I not pregnant yet? 
My husband and I have been trying for twelve months. I am 30 and he is 33. Living a healthy life. No drugs. Occasional drinkers. Non smokers. 
I have regular 28-30 day cycles. Normal egg reserve for my age. Blood tests normal. Ultrasound unremarkable. HSG clear. Progesterone confirms ovulation. Normal sperm count, consistency and motility. 
Why is this not happening?

100% nothing wrong with you, love. It is hard but a sperm meeting an egg is essentially black magic. So much has to go into just the right conditions for sperm to even get up into your tubes, plus perfect chemical balances in your uterus, etc... take a deep breath it can happen. Most doctors arent worried about conception if you are under 35 and it has been 12 months. They do start worrying after 12 months.
I was 35 going on 36 and with one loss overall it took me a year. Most everything was in line for me too. But I literally took some time away from my partner (due to work), started working out, changed my diet some, started taking mindfulness classes, etc... and finally got successfully pregnant. So I dont know if it was the time away? Like did I need my PH in my system to balance out (we regularly had sex 1-3x a day except during the fertile window)? Was it being in a different environment? Was it from mentally giving up and going "fuck it"? I will never know. But I wasnt unhealthy before except for stress and I am 28 weeks pregnant now. So SOMETHING worked out "right". 
Be kind to yourself, get lots of snuggles from your partner and take deep breaths. ❤❤

Exactly the same here. Trying for over a year - all tests clear... in fact we were told my SO has excellent sperm and I have excellent egg reserve! It’s soooo frustrating :( keep going is all we can do. Sending lots of baby dust your way xxx

Oh I also wanted to throw in that even though I didn't do anything different when I got pregnant, about 3 months before I did a health cleanse that had an insane amount of vitamins. Maybe I was lacking something that I had no idea I was lacking? Maybe the healthy start just kick started my fertility I'm not really sure? But just thought I'd throw in what I did

I’m so sorry 😞 It was 6.5+ years before I got my positive. I’m convinced the hysteroscopy surgery to remove a polyp on my uterine wall and a D&C during it was what helped me. Because just like you, everything was normal for me. I did all the tests and procedures imaginable. Had that done August 2018. Got pregnant November 2018.

Unfortunately sometimes there's no reason and it's so frustrating. I tried for 6 years and even did iuis with no reason of why we weren't getting pregnant. I did end up getting pregnant at right about the six year mark. I'm not sure why but I'm so sorry I'm such a hard road. Hang in there mama your time will come!

Same we’ve been trying for 4 years now. We have even done the iui cycles allowed and will be proceeding with ivf. One of my nurse case managers mentioned that your Fallopian tubes have little like tentacles (cannot come up with a more appropriate word this morning) that push the egg towards the uterus and they cannot test to see if you have those or if they are functioning. So it is an option. 
But 1 year you still have lots of time to practice.

Honestly if there is no medical reason on either side, it’s probably just a timing thing as frustrating as that is. It really is an incredibly small window to get it exactly right. 
From personal experience, our first took 13 months of METICULOUS trying. Our 2nd, we got it on the first “try”. Keep going and documenting so you can use that information if needed for your doctor. If you’re still not pregnant within the next 3- 6 months, I’d recommend reaching out to a fertility specialist  
Also, it’s really important to still enjoy having sex with your partner. When you’re doing it for the purpose of getting the baby it can start to feel “chore-like” and the pressure can become a killjoy.

This is the same as me and my partner and I’ve met so many others on the road. Just know that half of couples like us get pregnant in the second year! That’s good odds. I’m in the other half and doing ivf now. Hopefully you will get your bfp just a little later than expected :)
