IUI #2 tomorrow!
Excited and nervous for
IUI#2 tomorrow. Had mid-cycle scan today 8/6 on CD 13 after 7.5mg letrozole days 3-7 with 7mm uterine lining and one dominant 18mm follicle and two 10mm smaller ones. Much better situation than the delayed response last month (did IUI on day 19). Dr. said the smaller ones won't do anything. Triggered today at office at 2:45pm for IUI tomorrow. What I am nervous about is timing. Hubby's appointment for sperm collection and wash is 8:15am so out of there around 9:15am/9:30am with IUI at 12:30pm because doc isn't in until 12:30pm. We were told 2 options: 1- have IUI even earlier in the morning through labor and delivery or 2- have regular RE do the procedure at 12:30pm. I worry because of the gap in time from collection/wash to IUI procedure. I also worry about having IUI too early as it isn't even 24hrs! They said the sperm would live 5 hours as long as kept at body temp!?!? So stressed right now. 😣
At least hubby is home so after iui we can "reinforce" even if iui is early.
