Breastfeeding and Blisters?
I gave birth to my little girl 3 days ago, and I am working desperately to exclusively breastfeed. IDK if it because I am recovering from a csection, or that Im just too inexperienced but I am failing. I began by nursing on demand, like the lactation consultant said, and by the end of day 2, my nipples were blistered. I was feeding every 30mins and she’d nurse for up to an hour. I began to think she was using me for a pacifier...? Anyhow, last night I pumped. Between incision and breast pain, I gave up. Is it normal to get blisters this quickly? What can I do to get them to go away so I can nurse directly again? 😞
