Husband golfing

My husband loves to golf. He looks forward to it every summer. Usually he goes once every week or so.

However, right now we have a 3 week old and a 19 month old. It’s hard to be alone with them because they both need constant attention. My husband keeps asking if he can golf and I keep saying no. He doesn’t complain, but I’m starting to feel guilty. I just really don’t feel ready to be alone with the kids for hours at a time.

During the week, my mom comes over while he’s at work so I feel bad asking her to come over on the weekend too.

Should I feel guilty? Is it reasonable to ask him to wait?
