Any Realator’s??
So we are buying a home that is currently being used as the model. Well sign all the contracts this weekend and put a hold fee down, (earnest) and close on the house end of October. We noticed when we went to the house that they had changed some of the display furniture around and had dinged some of the walls and paint etc. I’m wondering what they best way to go about this is... I feel they should fix all the damage before we close or take the cost off the home. I want all model furniture out of the home when we do the walk through to insure. This home is pricier because he has all the top upgrades like the wood flooring, but if they are going to scratch it up and dent it it looses a bit of its value to me. We have a Homie Realator we have been working with since that’s who we found the townhouse through. But after signing a broker agreement (were first time buyers and didn’t really realize what that meant) we’ve learned that she is new and doesn’t know anything. She’s so passive and doesn’t represent us well at all to the builder and it drives me crazy so I feel like we need to educate our selves more so we can do it ourselves. So if you are a Realator or work in the market and have any advice let us know! We have a new baby coming just a month or so after we move in and we want it to be perfect!
