Why is this so calming?

Question

Anyone who truly knows me knows that I’m not exactly a religious person (I honestly don’t even know what I am in that aspect). 
This picture popped up on my Pinterest one day a few months ago:

It just like... resonated with me. For some reason I just get so calm when I read it. I honestly don’t even know the true meaning behind it. 
Does anyone else have something kind of out of the blue that calms them?

Something that calms me is the song In The Eye of The Storm by Ryan Stevenson. 
" In the eye of the storm, you remain in control. In the middle of the war you guard my soul, you alone are the anchor when my sails are torn. Your love surrounds me in the eye of the storm."  No matter what we go through in life we can lean on Jesus he is always there when no one else will listen he also gives me so much peace and idk how I would make it without him. ❤️
