Incompetent Cervix

Moms, I need support/advice on anyone who has had this diagnosis. Furthermore anyone who has then proceeded with the Cerclage procedure. What did you do afterwards to prolong your pregnancy as long as possible? Was the procedure a success allowing you to make it to term? Lastly what antibiotics were you prescribed and what were the side affects? I’m being asked to take Cipro. Any thoughts? Any and all stories are welcome.
