Surgery update

Thank you for all of your well wishes and prayers. The surgery went well but for some reason I wasn't able to go home the same day as planned, the doc had me stay the nighy. My first night away from Rosalie 😭 It was painful and I was swollen but the coughing from the breathing tube was/is the worst! It doesn't let me sleep and I go into coughing attacks randomly. I'm still nauseous and dizzy and SORE. Here are some before and after pics. Doc said it was a very large nodule but it didn't look malicious so they didn't remove the left thyroid gland, just the right side.
