I’ve always been told that you only have a shower for your first baby as you should already have most things if you have more children after that 🤷‍♀️ because I’ve always been told this I am only having one shower for my first baby.

I did a shower for my second, my first was a girl and second was a boy it was also my SO's first baby (my daughter isn't his bio daughter) so we just had one for close family and friends. We didn't ask for gifts, we did a diaper raffle and put together gift baskets to he won (I did this at my first shower too)

My mother is insisting I have a sprinkle. I was very against having a second shower. My boys will only be 2 years apart. But it’s nice that she wants to celebrate a new baby so we will be keeping it VERY small.

Not having one but it’s more to do with covid. I would like to have a “Sprinkle” type shower.
It might be silly but I was the second child and was a bit jealous that my mom had a shower for both of my brothers but not me (large age gap between my younger brother and I). I want to have a sprinkle to celebrate another special life coming into our family, not for gifts.

I'm planning to have a baby shower for our second.  Its our second boy and some people may say not to do another baby shower but we just want to have a small celebration with close family. My husband and son are a part of it and its more to get together and be together before the new baby comes. Im only giving out a registry if people ask if there is one but I will definitely be doing a diaper raffle again. Hope this helps!
