Lettuce and tomato on sandwhich from a fast food place?

Hey ladies,

I know this is an odd/dumb question to some, but would you trust eating lettuce and tomato on a chicken sandwich from a fast food place (Hardee’s)? I normally always ask for no lettuce or tomato because I’m paranoid about improper washing, but I forgot to ask and was starving. I took it off to be safe, but the veggies still touched the chicken I ate. Please note the only reason I was eating this crap is because we are driving across country and it was the only place near us at the time, otherwise I would never eat it haha.
