Mixed Baby Marked as White on PKU

My ex was white and I’m African American so when I found out I was pregnant I was excited for my little caramel drop. When he was born he was super pink, as most babies (even some black babies like myself). And a day or two later my mom pointed out that on him PKU test paper they only marked him off as white. It didn’t bother me too much because, well, he is part white. I found it more humorous because if you look at me, his mother, I’m obviously black so I’d imagine you’d check that box off on there too.

Anyways, little Griffin AKA Fin, is 7mo now. Healthy, happy, and my little white chocolate, BooBear🥰
