Talking?

So the legend has it (aka, my parents say) that my older sister was speaking in full sentences by 9 months. I say they're full of it 😂 where are your 8-9 month olds with talking?

Mine just babbles dada and baba. My mom says me and my sisters all had our first words at 6 months. I think she (and others from her generation) consider the mamama and dadada babbles actual words, even though they don’t have any meaning yet. I definitely don’t think there’s any meaning in my son’s babbling yet.

She knows hi, mama, and dada. She will say “hi mama” and “hi dada”.

My 9 month old just squeals, he says 'da' and 'ah' and 'eh' but that it. He is quite independant and enjoys playing by himself and has 2 older sisters who talk non stop so probably doesn't get as much attention as they did as babies because our lives are pretty busy with 3 kids all up, I'm not worried though.

My LO says hi mumma dada hi and yum consistently. Just recently she started pointing and saying “that!” 😅

He is 9 months and says Mama, Dada, and yeah clearly. He uses Mama and Dada appropriately at us but just started saying  yeah and he says it everything you ask. 😂 He kinda says "more" but it's more like a sound not the word clearly, but he says it whenever he wants more so I know it's what he's trying to say. Mainly just a ton of babbling all day.

My daughter knows a handful of words and she’s 8 months, momma, hi, I love you, more, dada, and of course screams and babbles lol but I feel by 9 months she’ll know more. I keep talking to her and it’s crazy how much she retains.
