Have you ladies started losing your mucus plug yet?

FTM. When do you lose it? I’ve seen women who aren’t as far along as me losing their mucus plug or parts of it. When does that start? I’m 37 weeks on Wednesday. Not sure how this whole thing works just yet.

A lot of people will lose bits of it throughout their pregnancy. And maybe not even notice...it just regenerates and doesn’t necessarily mean labor is near. I never paid attention to losing my mucus plug, I always had consistent contractions before I noticed other signs of labor. I never paid attention to little details that could mean I’m about to go into labor, I would only pay attention to contractions and HUGE Braxton Hicks that would come consistently and not go away.

With my first I didn’t lose any of it until I was in labor and had my bloody show. The mucus plug doesn’t really mean anything unless it’s tinged brown or red.

I started losing it at 20 weeks , I'm now exactly 33 weeks and continuing to lose it almost every other day.

I'm 34 weeks and I've been losing my mucus plug it parts for the last two weeks.

I’ve been losing it in little bits for a few weeks now. With my first, I never noticeably lost it. It must have come out on es I was further along in my labor. I was induced at 38 weeks and had 39 hours of labor. 30 if them unmedicated. If it came out, I never noticed it.
