If it is positive talk to your mom and explain the situation or another trusted adult in your life you also need to think for YOURSELF and find the answer “am I ready to be a parent?” if you aren’t then find a route you would like to take to stop you from becoming a parent weather it’s giving your child up to to adopted by a family who cannot conceive or having an abortion

If you’re ready to become a parent try to mentally get ready having a therapist is great to talk to about anything honestly especially about your stresses you also need to apply for WIC that will also help you in the long run you need to determine yourself what type of person do you want to see and where you’d like to give birth also try to get in the healthy families’s program they’re SUPER helpful also get your insurance involved tell them you are expecting a child and ask about the benifits you could have either they’ll Change your plan with them or they’ll add more to your plan that you already have and if you don’t have insurance go to a social services building and apply for Medicaid fill out that paper you’ll end up getting a call from the insurance which they’ll ask you questions if you need the extra help you should also apply for food stamps/EBT card you are already on this app so you technically have a pregnancy support group but it’s always great to have one in real life

The biggest decision in my opinion is if you are willing and wanting to tell the father and if you don’t you still need to find out his family history for the baby lucky for first time mom’s the pregnancy won’t show until later down the road which is great honestly just remember to buy clothes a size up as soon as you do realize your stomach is growing I went from wearing a large to a 3x I usually wear between a large to an XL before I was pregnant so be prepared for anything I also developed carpa tunnel so my ring I’ve been wearing since 2015 is now stuck on my hand because of the swelling
