Help!!! 3 days late neg test!

Hello I’m looking for someone who has maybe dealt with something similar... I had some spotting on the 4/5th of august it was very light brown mixed in my cervical mucus. I have taken a test every morning since the spotting and I’m currently 3 days late but I keep getting negative tests? (I did not take one today) I have been exhausted and nauseous and vomiting the last 2 days. When would I possibly get a positive? Am I just late? Could I be pregnant? We have been trying for 5 months! I have no sign of my period coming and my cervix is high and medium openness?
