What are next steps after multiple miscarriages?

What were your next steps after multiple miscarriages? I’ve had 2 chemicals and 1 - 8 week miscarriage. Doctor tested me for PCOS and said my bloodwork came back fine but that I still had symptoms of PCOS?! 🤷🏽‍♀️ so I changed my diet/lifestyle which is how I’ve gotten pregnant the last 2 times. First chemical was May 2019, then a pregnancy ending in miscarriage March 2020, now chemical Aug 2020. 
My husband’s sperm is fine from what the doctor said 
My progesterone has never been tested
What are some other things that doctor should/might test for to see why I can’t hold a viable pregnancy?
I’m just so sick of this 😭😞 I need to know a plan. What to ask for, etc.

I had three losses since October and I’ve been getting tests ran this year. Thankfully my hormones are great, husbands test was good, I do have insulin resistance so I started metformin in April for that and it seemed to correct it. I also got tested for clotting disorders, bleeding disorders, lupus anticoagulant, MTHFR gene mutation, ultrasound for follicle count day 3, hsg/saline test are some. I was tested for pcos but my testosterone was ok but I do have insulin resistance but I hear pcos is hard to prove. I have a regular cycle so it has been frustrating. My next step is trying letrozole this cycle, it helps quality of eggs and induces ovulation.

My SIL, has this has multiple miscarriages, they ended up doing key hole surgery to make a dip in her womb to hold the embryo! 
I just you ask you doctor to test your progesterone levels! And to see if there are any underlining problems!
