DEPO INJECTION

Hi ladies, just after some advice or similar stories?

When I was 13 I was on the DEPO INJECTION and I was on this for 5 years(yes I know the concerns of having a break after 2 years) My Nurse which I had for the whole 5 years, had routine appointments with me to check up on me, everything was fine and they was happy for me to stay on this due to how painful and extremely heavy my periods were, I had my first one at 11 and heading into high school/secondary school, I started to have time off due to the mess and state I would be in, this is the reason as to why I was on the injection from such a young age and for as long as I was.

IN THE WHOLE 5 YEARS I WAS ON THIS I NEVER ONCE HAD A PERIOD‼️

Last year I decided to come off it and have a break, I went onto the pill. After having a year off the depo injection, I decided to go back on it 2/3 months ago, as the pains and heaviness started again, today I have woke up and there was blood? I am unsure whether this is a period or just bleeding however on my normal calendar if my periods were normal, today would have been my last day of a 8 day period.

This is just my experience with the injection and a little back ground story to help you see how my patterns have been, however I am after advice on the Coil/Implant? If the injection isn’t going to work for me this time, then I’d like to know peoples stories on the implant to see if that would benefit me any better?
