When to test?

When are you suppose to test your opks? I’ve seen people do it twice a day in the AM/PM and then I see some people only two once a day. So far I’ve been only doing it once a day in the morning. 
Help!

I like to do it 2x a day because I’m really serious about TTC! I peaked last cycle CD17 in the evening but by CD18 in the morning it was already over- I might have missed it if I didn’t do it 2x but it’s really personal preference on how down to the min you want to be. 
However if you are only going to test 1x a day don’t ever use the first morning urine! Your body doesn’t start releasing LH until you wake up. They recommend using mid morning- late afternoon urine after holding it for at least 2 hours if you want accurate results
