My daughter and I just moved to Florida from Virginia and when we got here she got a small diaper rash. I was putting ointments and gave her oatmeal baths to soothe it and it went away but she still screams and moves during her diaper changes. It seems like she’s in pain but she’s also started screaming since coming to this new house whether she’s happy or upset.

Trying to schedule a doctor appointment but insurance is difficult to relocate our new primary care for her and I dong think it warrants an emergency room visit.

I give her toys to hold while changing and sing her songs. We’re gonna potty train soon also because we think she’s ready and showing signs.

Has anyone else dealt with this before? How did you help your toddler?
