Tdap vaccine, I just have questions
Hi! Im 33 weeks, my Dr hasn't brought up Tdap and I keep forgetting to ask!!! I have a few questions. I'm reading it's a class C drug meaning risks to baby are unknown and I'm wondering if that's true. Also, because of COVID, we are not allowing anyone to meet our baby her first few months. We will also not be taking her anywhere besides the Dr, and i will not be going anywhere either. My husband would still go out once every 2 weeks for groceries. We both had the vaccine 5 years ago when my nephew was born. Is there still a risk of her getting it even if my husband changes clothes and showers after grocery store? I'm not trying to start any arguments im just genuinely curious. I have the opportunity to get the shot today but I think I'm going to wait a week as my husband is having surgery tomorrow and I will not be in any position to have adverse side effects for the next few days. I've read about moms noticing decreased fetal movements for a few days afterward, did anyone else experience this? It worries me as with an anterior placenta I already feel her so little as it is. Thanks!
