Snacks for hospital ?

What snacks/drinks do you guys recommend I pack for my husband for the hospital while I give birth?? First time mom.

My hospital is providing 3 meals a day for my husband but we’re also bringing a few non perishable snacks since he’s a type 1 diabetic. Some suggestions would be to pack: granola/protein bars, chips, trail mix, cookies, or other sugary snacks. We’re bringing small quantities as we plan to stay for the minimum time required.

I actually brought full blown food in a cooler because our hospital rooms had a mini fridge. It was actually a lifesaver because I ended up delivering in the middle of the night, kitchen was closed and vending machine was broken. And the next day, he was only entitled to one meal. Especially if your hospital has a no leave policy due to covid, don't be shy to bring stuff. No joke I brought deli meat and bread, packets of oatmeal, fruit....food. For labor I brought nuts and water bottles.

I’m having my husband pack the snacks for both of us in his bag. Just things that won’t go bad like crackers, etc. we are going to get stuff from Costco within the next month before delivery.

Nothing smelly or loud in case your nauseous and irritable. We brought him jerky and the smell made me puke. So I'd do like nutrigrain bars, non smelly sandwiches, and drinks. I'd also order him stuff from room service. He ate what I ate so the smell didn't bother me. Also gum for after.

My midwife told me to bring high energy snacks for me and dad, so I got protein/coconut flake granola bars, some fruits (banana and apples I think), some crackers, and boxes of orange juice. 
It was awesome to have because I was starving after giving birth so my midwife and husband fed me banana, juice, and peanut butter toast while I was nursing my son for the first time.
