help please :( sprintec is ruining my life

It's not /killing/ me or anything but I'm on sprintec and have relentless breakthrough bleeding. My gynecologist suggested I take a break from it for a week to allow my body to have a natural cycle and then continue it again.

Yeah... that helped for about 2 weeks. Then back to bleeding again. I even PMS; bloating, cramping, mood swings, et cetera on sprintec. I'm a 21 year old female and I'm also on lamictal, effexor rx and concerta.

I am going to contact my gynecologist again but they suck at giving me straight answers or really finding a solution to the issue. I wanted to try nexplanon or maybe another pill form (because I'm terrified of an IUD) but I'm so afraid of it just being the same exact issue or gaining even more weight.

I gained so much weight on sprintec and relentlessly experience mild to heavy breakthrough bleeding. Yeah, I haven't become pregnant on it but bleeding all the time is beating my self confidence down. It makes me feel gross. I am going through tampons like no tomorrow. I'm just at a loss and I literally cry about this.

Any advice? Anyone that experienced/experiences the same issue? What do I do? What do you recommend? Should I switch birth control methods? Also scared of nexplanon because I have continuously heard from my friends that they bled for 6 months to a YEAR on it. Please help a girl regain her confidence and love for herself because I am absolutely miserable with my situation.
