Tips on preparing for anal? First time trying it

So I’m going to have anal sex and I am extremely nervous yet excited because it’s something I’ve wanted to try for a really long time. However I’m not sure how to clean myself or anything like that to be prepared for it. I use soap and water on my butthole when I shower but I feel like that’s not enough to prepare for anal as he would be going inside. Also I have a hemmroid right now that will probably make the process a lot harder so tips on getting rid of that as well would be good. How do you make sure you’re Thoroughly clean for anal?
