Am I too small?

The last couple times my boyfriend and I had sex, when he puts it in it hurts A LOT. Keep in mind that 1) I’m very new to this and have only been having sex for about a month or two now and 2) we do plenty of foreplay before hand. It’s just every time we try, it hurts us both. I’m starting to think that I’m just.... small I guess? Or maybe I’m normal and he’s just too big? We keep joking that we need to take a trip to Walgreens for “stuff” like lube but idk I think I’m overthink it tbh

Either way, he always makes sure I’m comfortable and enjoying it as much as he is which is amazing :) I just wish that part didn’t hurt so much :/
