Baby acne is getting out of control but then sometimes it seems gone?

This poor guy goes from perfectly clear skin to blemishes all over on and off all day. It’s the weirdest thing. Seems like when he’s awake and moving around they get worse? Idk what to do. I’ve been cleaning His face regularly with the mistral cleansing water to no avail. Any suggestions are welcomed

My daughter was getting this and I realized the boppy or pillow I used to nurse her was irritating her face. I started laying a soft swaddle down where her head would lie before feeding. Also, try to only use warm water and pat dry for a few days. My daughters went away in a week and hasn’t returned. That was when she was 5 weeks to 6 weeks. He’s so cute!! Good luck

I also switched burp cloths and it made a huge difference! The muslin burp cloths irritate her face, the burts bees brand are very soft and as soon as I switched it cleared up.

Throw some breast milk on it! I saw it clear my LO’s skin up

I used mustela cleansing water with tubby Todd but that combo did not work for my little one’s skin so I went back to using warm water and aquaphor & it cleared up within a week.

I agree. Breastmilk!! I did it twice a day and my son's started clearing up by day 2.
