15 month old autism?

I’m starting to get worried about autism he does not talk yet,he plays with just the tires of his cars and he will respond to his name sometimes but if you make sounds he likes, he looks right away 😔 my parents just told me that they have suspicions too anybody going through the same? I don’t know what other parents to look for

Way way too young at this age.  True signs of autism won’t be apparent until closer to 3.

I would recommend doing an Early Intervention evaluation through your local school district. They probably wont do any formal autism testing at this age but they will look at all of his developmental areas. Of they notice delays they can provide services to help give him a boost. They will also keep an eye on him to monitor if anymore autism red flags pop up. All of this is free!!

A lot of different opinions on this but it is very early to talk autism at this age.
If you are concerned have your pediatrician refer to early intervention. This creates a solid timeline of development.
With the world as it is kids aren’t getting as much social interaction. A little intervention could go a long way.

When my oldest was around this age we all suspected she had autism. She wasn’t talking, she didn’t show emotion, loud noises would scare her so bad I couldn’t change her in public bathrooms in case someone flushed the toilet or used the hand drier.as she got older with a little bit of help these things slowly went away. She couldn’t hear because she had multiple ear infection and needed tubes. After that she started being able to talk. She has adhd and she’s still scared of public bathrooms but she’s potty trained and goes to them.
