Can I try cortizone?

My son (16 months) woke up with a small rash (bumpy feeling) in the back of his arm... could I try cortizone on it? Any other suggestions

1% hydrocortisone cream twice a day.
My son has eczema patches and I use it . Works fine !

Try .5% cortisone, or ask your pediatrician they can prescribe it or give you another type of cream for the lil one
