Normal?

I started my period a few days ago, I’m on metformin 500mg. Today I put in a super+ at 2:15pm (when I get up for work). I bled through that tampon and 3 super tampons before 7pm. Like bled through. Blood in my shorts (luckily I was wearing thick shorts under my work pants or else I would have blood in multiple places. Then on top of bleeding through my tampons the toilet looked as if I peed blood. The water was like pure red for the most part. Any advice to help me out? I work in a job that it’s not always easy for me to go to the bathroom right when I feel like I bleed through or need the restroom in general unless I have someone relieve me for a short time while I go.
