Should I just let him go?

I've been talking to this guy for about 3 months now. He says he wants to grow with me and I'm starting to expect a relationship. He tells me he loves me but haven't asked me to be his girlfriend yet. He says he wants to take it slow because he doesn't want to get hurt. I'm confused because we have sex, go on dates, he spends some nights with me, and we talk every single day. I feel like it's been long enough for him to know if he wants to be in a relationship with me. What should I do? Should I let him go? Should I stop having sex with him?

Stop having Sex. If he doesn’t want to commit because he wants to take it slow then take it slow! Sex is taking it fast. He’s just leading you on.

There’s nothing wrong with him asking to take it slow and that can mean something different to everyone. I would just ask him, “So does this mean I’m your girlfriend?” And just see what he says. I dated a guy once who never officially asked me and I didn’t ask him, but we were clearly together. We didn’t need to confirm it in anyway and it was fine. 
But if you need that kind of confirmation, just ask. You don’t need to sit around and wait for him to ask you officially.

Id sit him down and explain you're already doing relationship things. Are you in a relationship or not. If not, I'd cut it off. You're already doing everything without monogamy, commitment, or the title. (He may not be seeing other people also but there's no expectation of exclusivity.)
