My husband is a Satanist, I’m a Christian. We have no problems in our relationship because we are both respectful.

I believe in God to my core. My ex boyfriend was atheist. I told him I wouldn't judge him and tell him he's going to hell for not believing in God but he always belittled me for believing in God. I told him I respect you for not believing in anything so disrespect me for believing in God. I ended up breaking up with him. I ended up marrying someone who believes in God as much as I do.

It depends on how the couple handles the difference and whether or not they respect it. My husband and I are of different faiths but we have the same values. My husband wouldn't come with me to church but he wouldn't complain if I brought our sons. At the end of the day, we both believe faith is a personal choice and our kids will have to decide what they believe when the time comes. That's not up to us.

I don’t think it’s an across the board answer. Some people are strongly religious and feel that everyone around them must be the same way. Some people are religious but open-minded to other beliefs.

It’s about a system of values and beliefs. If you’re a hardcore fundamental Christian and he’s a multi-god worshipping demon summoning magician then it probably will. But if one of you is Muslim and one of you is Jewish it’s might be fine. It’s about what you do or don’t respect and understand, it’s about values more than labels. 
I said no because my bf and I have different spiritual paths and I’ve seen couples where someone is Jewish and someone is Christian and it’s fine. But we have the same beliefs in a value system. And we’re open. We talk a lot about spiritual tendencies and it’s very fun. So it depends, but it you’re fine with the person in every other way, “religion” (just a label to being you closer to others) really shouldn’t make the difference.

My husband and I kinda have different beliefs and religion and I think it doesn’t really matter because we don’t force each other’s beliefs on each other I mean we are both Christian so we have like the same foundation so we have talked about what we want to teach our children but I think that’s the most important way to make things work is to not pressure your beliefs on your partner

No my husband is Catholic and I was raised modern Pentecostal (more like non denomination) and we both respect each other’s beliefs and go to a non denomination church. The 2 aren’t wildly different so I could see how if the 2 religions were drastically different it would cause issues.
