What does everyone do for your guys birthday ?

My birthday in 10 days and no one has mention anything to me. It’s my 20th but my mom usually always get us a cake a small lil somthing I mean she still gets my brother stuff and he’s 24😂 . Im not expecting much since I moved out and have my own family but it feels as if nobody remembers... not my sibling or even my husband... they all haven’t mention nothing to me and it’s kinda hurt my feeling. I have tried to bring it up but they don’t say much. And no there not the type of family to throw no surprise anything 😂

Personally I hate when people go all out for me on my birthdays. I would rather them do little things to show that they love me throughout the year than throw a party or do something on my birthday just bc it’s a special date

My birthday is also coming up on Sept 6. Most of the time I don’t do anything for my birthday. I haven’t gotten a gift for my birthday since I was like maybe 10. But this year my parents are actually gonna take me and my husband out to get tacos and Margaritas since last year on my 21st I had a 4 month old at home so I wasn’t going to go out drinking then. I usually try to get myself something for my birthday though. This year I’m getting myself another tattoo.

This year- not much due to covid! My parents and sister called me on the day and sent gifts. My husband bought me a gift (from him and my DS) and made me a cake. We ordered pizza for dinner since we couldn’t go out or have anyone baby sit.
Usually I celebrate with a combined birthday dinner with family (as my sister, BIL, dad and I all have birthdays within 2 weeks of each other) and then on the actual day my husband and I will do something together either just the 3 of us as a little family or with a couple of friends.

I don't think I have celebrated a bday in 6 or 7 years. My husband tells.me happy bday and gives me a kiss and family/friends might call or text that day but that's it my family stops giving gifts at 18 though for the most part and not a sweets person so no cake. I've never been a big bday person though in general

We usually just have dinner together or something, nothing too crazy! My mom usually asks me about a week before my bday what i want to do. My mom still gets us presents too! She usually asks for a bday list. I know what you mean tho, my husband has literally forgotten my bday before. I was so upset! He is really bad with dates anyway I’ve noticed though so now I try and always remind him prior so it doesn’t happen again lol it literally ruined my day! So like this year when my mom asked for a bday list I texted her it and then forwarded it to my husband 🤣 so I feel like with him anyway I have to remind him or else he may forget! But my mom always remembers! Maybe your mom is waiting until a bit closer to ask you about it since it is 10 days away!
