Putting baby down for a nap?

when you put your baby mine is 5 weeks down for a nap do you keep the room light with white noise so they know it’s still daylight or do you keep it dark with white noise ?

I always keep them in the living room with lots of noise and with all the windows open. Did the same with my first. They need to know when it’s day and when it’s night time.

I kept things bright and open the first 4 weeks, after that I turned the white noise on, black out curtains, and put him in his crib in his nursery.

Everything is bright and noisy during the dsy (lights come on at the latest 9am) and they go off for "bedtime" around 8pm. We do still have the tv on at night cause we sleep with it on anyways but other than that all is dark and low noises. Its supposed to help babies distinguish between night and day

For day time naps I have windows open, lights on and tv usually. Lots of stimulation.

Nap time sleep and night time sleep are the same setting for my guy. The only difference is a little more light streams through the curtains during the day. White noise on for naps and night time. Though I could probably leave lights on and he’d sleep anyway.. he’s a sleeper!

For the first few weeks he napped in the light in the living room. But now he sleeps in the dark with white noise in our bedroom in his bassinet/in his room in his crib

I let my baby nap on me or in the bouncer in the living room during the day. I keep lights on and the TV. He sleeps right through it all. Even the vacuum.

I keep it pretty dark because my 5 week old is bad at sleeping during the day. He wont nap and anything will wake him up. He’s a good sleeper at night but not during the day. Seems like he already knows when its day time and when its night time
